Protein Peanut Butter Cups

These protein peanut butter cups are the perfect combo of peanut butter and dark chocolate and sweet and salty. I definitely recommend making a batch, keep them stored in your freezer, so they are ready for you to enjoy a healthy delicious treat!


Prep Time: 1 hour

Serves: 9

Serving Size: 1 cup

  • Chocolate Layer

    • 2 tablespoon melted coconut oil

    • 4 tablespoon peanut butter

    • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

    • 1 scoop Equip chocolate protein

    • 1 tbsp cocoa powder 

    Peanut Butter Layer

    • 2 tablespoon melted coconut oil

    • 4 tablespoon peanut butter

    • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

    • 1 scoop Equip vanilla protein

    • Salt Flakes

    1. Mix together the chocolate layer.

    2. Spray silicone muffin pan with nonstick spray. I do not recommend a regular metal muffin pan. 

    3. Pour chocolate layer evenly into 9 muffin molds. Freeze for at least 30 minutes. 

    4. Mix together the peanut butter layer. (I use the same bowl). 

    5. Pour the peanut butter mixture evenly on top of the chocolate layer. 

    6. Sprinkle sea salt on top. 

    7. Freeze for at least 30 minutes. 

    8. Pop the frozen protein fat bombs out of the muffin molds and store in a freezer safe container.
